Een volgende hoofdstuk in het coffee club verhaal. Tijdens deze avonden zullen we diep ingaan op één enkel aspect van het brouwproces.

Soms is het gemakkelijk om dingen als vanzelfsprekend te beschouwen, of gewoon te accepteren dat dingen zijn zoals ze zijn, of werken zoals ze werken.
Voor ons is dat niet genoeg, we willen weten hoe en waarom koffie zich gedraagt zoals het doet en hoe we welke aspecten van het hele proces kunnen manipuleren om tot het perfecte kopje te komen.

We behandelen elk deel van het proces, van boon tot kopje, over brandingen, variëteiten, filtermaterialen, verhoudingen, waterrecepten, enzovoort. Ga mee op deze opwindende reis door de wetenschap van koffie.
Dit evenement is geen hands-on workshop, het is een avond om kennis te delen met behulp van praktijkvoorbeelden, maar je leert niet hoe je koffie moet zetten.

Een basiskennis van koffie kan handig zijn, maar uiteindelijk staat deze avond open voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is.

A new addition to the coffee club’s monthly events.
During these evenings we will dive deep into one single aspect of the brewing process. Sometimes it’s easy to take things for granted, or to just accept that things are the way they are, or work the way they work.
To us, that’s not enough, we want to know how and why coffee acts the way it does and how we can manipulate all the aspects of brewing to get to that perfect brew.
We’ll cover every part of the process, from bean to cup, over roasts, varietals, filter materials, brew ratios, water recipes ,... No stone will be left unturned. Join us on this exciting journey through the science of coffee. 

This event is NOT a workshop, it’s a night of sharing knowledge with the help of some hands-on examples but you will not learn how to make coffee. A basic understanding of coffee brewing might be useful but in the end this night is open to everyone who’s interested.
